Ramblings of a Disorientated Mind

So, this weekend I set out to poole, to buy some dumbels. However, I couldn’t get any since the nice cheap ones where all sold out. But I did come back with hair dye [electric blue] and a glass chess set [that was uber cheap, so I just had to get it]. I shall post pictures of me with electric blue tinted hair when I get around to doing it/ get my SD card and reader. Andy beat me at twice at chess, and I refused to play any more. Damn my competitivness.

This thing with me and Andy, well, we spent a long time talking about it, but didn’t really come to any kind of conclusion. I do, however have a better understaning of why he doesn’t like going out, but not in a ‘ting’-light-bulb-over-the-head kinda way. *note to self: ask spacefemites for help*

Kitty is gone by now. I was hoping to give her a really cool going away present [which I can't say here, damnit, cuz I don't want her to know], but time snuck up and lynched me, so I didn’t. Maybe I can get her address from Lexy, and send it out to her, that would be cool But yeah, here’s to absent friends *raises glass*

This will be the short version – I don’t want people committing suicide because they are trying to read a long version al la bad poetry in THGTTG.

Went to Mat and Gina and Dan’s house warming, got complimented for dress, stockings kept falling down.

Helped Dan move in, fell asleep waiting for our thank you meal to arrive.

Shopping with kitty on the 23/4th Dec was tiring/ stressful/ but fun, as per. Got treated to an iced bun.

Christmas was cool, but very quiet. Got a few books, beauty products I shall probably never use [except the simmering lotion, that's pretty and cool], lots of underwear [Christmas tradition in our family], other bits and bobs.

Boxing day had Andy et al over. Think mum gets on well with Mary, and I think Mary was glad to get out of her house. Kitten and Lex came round as well, and we chatted. Gave Lexy his present which he loved.

Day after Boxing day, Sullivans came to us. Got a CD that I already had [well, not quite – it's a special edition one with 4 extra tracks] and an Ed/ Ein doll [from Cowboy Beebop]. Ein!

31st, had blood sucked, for testing.

Went to Andy’s for New Years. We watched House of Flying Daggers [a good film] with Ian, Dan and Monkey.

New Years day, talked with Andy until 3:30 [that's AM folks]. Learnt a lot about myself [I am strong and confident, I am a source of strength for others, I have some inner turmoil that makes people keep a distance from me], and about why he doesn’t celebrate at specific times [read about it here]. Got home, went back to bed, woke up at 16:00 ish, went to Sulivans, got given a Lupin III manga and a guide book for the first 6 eps. of Cowboy Beebop.

Sunday went camera feeling with mum and andy, found a camera I like and will buy it this sat.
Monday, Kat and lex came over to wash and cut her car on our lawn. Got the Definitive Blue Brothers Collection from lex. Went out to a pub to say good by to lex. Bar staff were very friendly to us, Lex thinks it’s cuz ‘two pretty girls making an effort= really pretty girls + one guy between them= one must be free’

Tuesday, started work *groan*. had a fun DnD which, in next weeks episode, I shall probably end up getting killed [That, ladies and gents, is what happens when your wee halfling thief gets cocky and takes on 6 super evil dudes by herself]. Sent Andy a stupid e-mail about crap that I cannot cope with about him.

Wednesday, ran home from work, thought I was going to have a heart attack [I am so unfit], had the sky come crashing down around my ears about Andy stuff, had Kat come over to do phyc. c/w, had a semi girly chat with her.

Today, ran home from work again, legs felt like they were going to fall off instead of having a heart attack, an improvement? Talked briefly with Andy about stuff. Wrote this.

Oh yeah, and sometime in all that I started up my ICS writing course, and did some work on the background of Gurn and Asuka’s world.
