Ramblings of a Disorientated Mind

Stayed up untill 0400h playing D&D today. We were running late and in the middle of a battle, so we decided to kep playing. It was cool. Stoped at 0300 to go to TESCO for grub, though. Drank lots of kick, and I don’t think it’s worn off yet, but I am going to be so fucked tomorrow…

Anyway, woke up at 1030 [6 hours, not too bad I guess], then everyone left around lunchtime when Andy and I went to westbourn cuz I needed to strech my legs. He bought 3 dvds for cheap at blockbuster. I wanted to clean his floor cuz where bill [the dog] pees quite a bit, it’s kinda slippery, so we went to TESCO to get it and I checked my balance and I descovered I’m overdrawn by a fair amount; some how £120.89 has dissapeared from my account.

Got home, checked my online statement to find that EBuyer.com has taken this money out of my account. So I go to ebuyer, and there is no record of a transaction. So I get on to the bank and, long story short, they told me to see what ebuyer has to say, so I sent them a thingy asking what the fuck they think their playing at. I just gon an e-mail; they are taking 7 working days due to backlogs. I’m hoping it’s just someone made a typo in proccessing the order or something. I am going to be so pissed and gutted if they can’t recover that money.

Around 1800 Andy and I crashed for an hour, but I didn’t really sleep, but now I really should cuz otherwise I’m goingto be dead tomorrow, and I agreed to help out with the coffee morning again.

See, I was going to tell y’all about coffee/ light lunches and Computer Lesson #3, but really there isn’t much to say. It was fun and nice and everyone learnt something, but that’s all really.

These people are very very good showmen. Saw them last night at the Barrington theater in Ferndown. It was a charity event for The Freinds of Brownsea Island, and I do belive I can safely say, much fun was had by all

It’s was such a fantastic night, I thought I would have more to write about… Heh. Ah well.

So what else have I been up to? Not much today, at least. I’m round Andy’s and we’ve just dossed really, though Dan and Monkey came round for a bit and dan fell asleep. Poor thing Yesterday though I spent a lot of time photographing stuff and writing up item descriptions so they can be sold on e-bay.

Gods, I really feel like my life is stagnating right now. I just don’t know what to do with myself. I seem to have come to a stop with the writing course [it's possible I suppose I was pushing to hard and I've run to a halt]. I know I rally want to do something associated with Libraries, but it seems so hard to get into the industry and I have no idea where to begin. And I still have no job Bleh. Why is it so hard?

Our Fung Shui game was sweet last night. One of Andy’s teachers was trying to take over the most uber powerful Fung Shui site in the history of ever, and we defeated him [I threw a Kick bottle at him and took him down several notches]. As a result of use killing him, we absorbed the power of the site, became immortal, and we were worshipped as gods.

I got the Americas. How cool?

Today I went up to Broadstone Methodist Church to help out at the coffee morning the have. It wasn’t too bad – an interesting way to occupy the morning. I have discovered something about myself; I’m a techno whore. I love the industrial dishwasher, it’s so cool. And so is the machine they use to make the coffee and hot chocolate. I spent the morning talking to people, lading and unloading the dishwasher and then being door-person for the Elderly who come for lunch.

Then I went for the Old Dear’s second lesson. I bet she’d have a right giggle that I call her that But this one went well too. We learnt have to use Win Publisher and how to print multiple pages on one page to make them small. We made a flyer for some party they’re having to celebrate 40 years of having the coffee morning, and I must say, I think what we did turned out very snazzy. Yay us

And then I came home to sick parents, which wasn’t so great.

But overall I’ve had a very fulfilling day. I can’t quite explain why, but I feel very satisfied with myself. I think I like helping people, even if they do scare me sometimes.

Heh, Poole was really packed yesterday. I guess everyone was trying to get in their flower purchases before today. I felt like a Mother’s Day Santa type thing today – I gave Kat’s Mum some Hyacinths, Andy’s Mum a pretty bouquet and my own Mum some books [yay for alternate gifts for people with hay-fever ]

Saw Charlie in Poole yesterday too. I’ve agreed to go to a ‘body shop party’ at her new place tomorrow. I’m scared I’m going to chicken out at the last moment. I think I’ve made my peace with her, and all my school mates; I still think I’ve outgrown my relationship with them, but I think we can still stay in touch, and I’ve pretty much forgiven and moved beyond their various misdemeanours against me.

And on the way into Poole, there were these two boys discussing that they though the bus service should be free, and that if ASDA could do it, then why couldn’t Wilts&Dorset? I wish I’d stepped in now, and explained exactly how things work. I was going over last night what I might have said to them, but then realised that it would have made me sound like I was really jaded and bitter. But then, I guess I am.
