Starsky and Hutch has everything you could want in a movie; fast cars, hot guys, hot girls, car chases, fight scenes, explosions, bad humor, embroidery… Wait! What? If you go see it you’ll understand.
The story is centered around two cops with very different styles, and a cocaine dealer. Yeah, its not very imaginative, but the action makes up for everything. The actors [Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson] are well cast to look like the originals, and there are many moments that I remember from the original. The good thing though is that they haven’t tried to tack this film on to the end of the series, but is like the whole series rolled into one. Talking of the original series, if you liked that then you will love the little surprise at the end.
If you are a fan of cool cars, action and bad jokes then you should go see this. I already told my Dad too.
. My main complain is they got the rolls the wrong way round, with Hutch [the blond] being the loud one and Starsky being quiet, but it gets a full 5 horseshoes because I just love that ‘Red Tomato’!
