This film has to be the most bizarre thing I have ever watched. The plot [and I use that term in the loosest way possible] centrers around a barbarian exterminator named Zed [Sean Connery] who manages to get himself inside something called ‘the vortex’ where a bunch of immortals live. At first they want to kill him, but then decide to study him instead. From here on in the ‘plot’ takes a dive into obscurity and is replaced by hints of militant feminism [the penis is evil], gratuitous nudity, orgies of death and confusing shinyness. The plot does it rear its head towards the end of the film when it is revealed why and how Zed got into the Vortex, and that he is some kind of saviour to the immortals.
As a film with any kind of point or plot it’s absolute crap, though some of the camera work was well executed and its actually kind of funny in a really messed up kind of way.
