Broadstone’s quite an affluent area, surprising maybe for an urban village, so working where I do, I get to see quite a lot of interesting traffic: Ferraris, Morgans, Beemers, Mercs, Mazdas, Jaguars, lotuses, which is always nice
As well as the classic and sports cars, the school is also on one of the routes to both the cemetery and the crematorium, so I also get to see my fair share of hearses. Sleek black thing anyone would want to be seen dead in
But what I saw today trumps everything [even the black Ferrari]: A white coach and four. It was a hearse, coming out of the cemetary, but by gods, what a way to go! Whomever was in it must have had some money. It had plumes and everything.

NEVER buy vegetables from an organic whole food shop near a crematorium; never!
