Happy Feet

on December 3, 2006

Year: 2006
Genre: Animated/ Children

Happy feet is about a tap-dancing penguin who grows up as a pariah because all the other penguins sing. His differences lead him to meet other types of penguin and finally ends up at the penguin exhibition at Seaworld in Florida, where his tap-dancing means the world decides to stop trawling in the antarctic.

This film is okay. Some of the song and dance numbers are good, and the baby penguins are perfectly done [and sickeningly cute], but overall this is definitely a film for children, with the perfect happy ending. I enjoyed it as a little escapist diversion, but I’m glad I didn’t pay to see it and I probably wouldn’t watch again.
