Okay, so last year for this thing on spacefem, I took a picture of my desk and annotated it. I found the picture recently and though it might be nice to show how my world has changed in a year and how it’s reflected in my desk. So here we go: a new picture and annotations.

A: The chair
B: My external Hard drive
C: A pile of books [my MOW files manuscript, the book of lost things John Connelly; beyond words, John Humphries; devices of the soul Steve Talbot]
D: duel monitors
E: The remains of dinner and breakfast from yesterday [and Henry the turtle behind them]
F: The same ‘I gave blood sticker’ from last year, on the drawer with a bunch of crap in it.
G: My various notebooks and a couple of photo albums
H: All you can see is CDs, but there are a bunch of folders down there behind everything that have half written stories, sheet music and lyrics, and pictures I never got around to putting up in them.
I: Recycling box
J: Laundry bin

K: Hairbrush, pack of tissue, sweets, gaffer tape, mouse
L: Deodorant, pills, moisturiser, pen and penny pots, clocks, Don Quixote
